• Pricing varies depending on the cabin category you choose. To view cabin options, layouts, and full pricing details, please visit our vessel and pricing guide here: View Vessel & Pricing Guide.

  • A berth is the term used for an individual sleeping space within a cabin. Each cabin on the cruise has two berths, so when two travelers share a cabin, each person is booking one berth.

  • All cabins onboard are designed for double occupancy. Because this is a fully chartered custom experience, pricing has been structured around double occupancy accommodations. Solo travelers who would like a private cabin will need to reserve both spots within the room.

  • No, international and domestic flights are not included in the cruise package.

  • Not at all. While we’ve created custom flea market and antique shopping excursions for this charter, the cruise is designed for anyone who loves vintage, antiques, thrifting, European markets, and cultural travel experiences. Guests will also have access to AmaWaterways’ standard excursions, along with free time to explore each destination independently.

  • Guests must be at least 18 years old to join this experience.

  • This is a fully customized private charter experience and can only be booked through our official booking links. The cruise will not be available through the standard AmaWaterways website or through third-party travel booking platforms.

  • An initial deposit ranging from $2,499.00 to $2,599.00 is required at the time of booking. After the initial deposit is made, remaining balances may be paid through installment payments.

  • Yes – and the same goes for all Left Coast Revivals group trips. Our experiences are open to travelers residing in any country, provided they have a valid passport and meet the travel requirements for the destination countries.

  • Yes. Travelers sharing a cabin may each book a single spot within the same cabin category separately. During the booking process, there will be a place to enter your roommate’s name so we can match your reservations together. This allows each traveler to pay for their own berth individually. Because cabin availability is limited and categories may sell out quickly, we strongly encourage both roommates to book promptly to help avoid one berth selling out before the second reservation is completed.

  • Booking officially opens on Sunday, May 17 at 4:00 PM Pacific Time.

  • This trip will be confirmed when a certain number of bookings have been received. This decision will be made no later than August 1st 2026. Guests will be contacted at this time.

  • Stopover cities along the Rhine often feature cobblestone streets, hilltop castles, old town squares, and walking tours that may involve stairs or uneven surfaces. A number of the included excursions involve a moderate level of walking and standing, so reasonable mobility will help you get the most out of each port. That said, all excursions are optional, and lower impact activity options are available at every stopover city, so guests can choose what best suits their comfort and pace.

  • Yes. All dietary requirements are accommodated onboard, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy-related needs. Please note your requirements at the time of booking so the AmaWaterways team can prepare in advance.

  • Travel insurance is required for this trip and must be arranged independently. Please ensure you purchase a policy that suits your personal needs and covers the destination and activities included in your itinerary. Given that this trip has different cancellation terms and a higher deposit than usual, we strongly encourage guests to organize travel insurance with cancellation cover as early as possible to protect their booking from the outset.

Note that for this trip, we recommend that your travel insurance includes:

    • Cruise or river cruise coverage (sometimes selected as an add-on)

    • Medical evacuation from a vessel

    • Missed port or missed departure cover

    • Trip interruption due to ship itinerary changes

  • All onboard charges are billed in euros and can be settled in cash (euros) or by major credit card at the end of your cruise. Traveler’s checks and pre-paid charge cards are not accepted.

In port, euros are the standard currency across most stopover cities on this itinerary. The exception is Basel, Switzerland, where the official currency is the Swiss Franc (CHF). Euros are often accepted in tourist areas, shops, and restaurants in Basel, but change will typically be given in Swiss Francs and exchange rates may not be favorable. For purchases in Basel, we recommend paying by card or using Swiss Francs where possible.

We recommend carrying smaller denominations (under €100 or 100 CHF) for shops, cafes, and markets, as larger notes are not always accepted. ATMs are widely available throughout each port city if you need to withdraw additional cash.
